Distribution of Cd-U-Mo-V-Mn-Pb factor scores in surface soils over the Lisbon and Lightning Draw Southeast fields. This unique element association is anomalous along a canyon over the Lisbon field where mineralized Triassic Chile Formation is exposed. Anomalies are also evident over the southeast part of the Lightning Draw gas field and also off-structure to the northwest and southeast. There is no exposed Chinle Formation at Lightning Draw and, thus, the anomalies must reflect chemical dispersion of these metals in oxidized fuids along a fault from underlying mineralization. The multi-sample anomaly over the southeast part of Lightning Draw is spatially associated with the biodegraded gas condensate seep identified in the fluorescence data, and this seep may be the reductant that promotes precipitation of metals from the ascending fluids.
