Series of bluffs along the Colville River (foreground) at the large river bend that defines the southeastern corner of NPRA. Bluff in the foreground (Umiat Mountain) exposes uppermost strata of the Albian-Cenomanian Nanushuk Formation overlain by the Turonian-Coniacian Seabee and Tuluvak Formations. Bluffs in the middle and far distance at right expose the Upper Cretaceous Schrader Bluff Formation. Location about 100 miles southwest of Prudhoe Bay.
