Vertical standing sandstone in Albian-Cenomanian Torok Formation Sandstone exposed on the Ivishak River. This sandstone was deposited in the Colville foredeep by sediment-gravity-flow processes. The Brooks Range mountain front, with the high peaks composed mostly of Lisburne Group carbonate rocks. Location about 90 miles south-southeast of Prudhoe Bay.
