Views of seismic geomorphology at work. This is a detailed view of unincised alluvial systems -- numerous high-sinuosity channels located on a Late Pleistocene alluvial plain offshore northwest Java. In contrast with channels located within incised valleys, these channels are not associated with tributary systems, but rather are located on a broad alluvial plain.
