This seismic horizon slice (i.e., datumed time slice) illustrates an unincised Miocene alluvial system at a depth of approximately 800 meters subsea, located offshore northwest Java. Two alluvial channels of markedly different sinuosity can be seen. These alluvial deposits are imbedded within offshore shelf deposits and represent deposition during a lowstand of sea level.
